Grandma Wagner's Thursday Night Special

Ingredients:
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 can condensed tomato soup (like Campbell's)
0.5 cup milk
1 cup diced sharp or extra sharp cheddar cheese
  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Boil the macaroni.
  3. Drain the finished macaroni and rinse with cold water.
  4. Mix soup and milk in a pot, while heating on the stove.
  5. Add a 0.25 cup of cheese to the milk and soup mixture. Heat until the cheese is melted and the melange is smooth.
  6. Lube the casserole dish.
  7. Dump the noodles into the casserole dish.
  8. Pour cheese, milk, and soup sauce over the noodles.
  9. Scatter remaining cheese across the top of the casserole.
  10. Place the casserole dish and contents in the over and cook for 30-45 minutes, until the cheese on top is melted and the edges are starting to brown.
  11. Remove from over and let stand and cool for a couple of minutes.
  12. Enjoy.
