Grandma Wagner's Thursday Night Special
Ingredients:
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 can condensed tomato soup (like Campbell's)
0.5 cup milk
1 cup diced sharp or extra sharp cheddar cheese
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Boil the macaroni.
- Drain the finished macaroni and rinse with cold water.
- Mix soup and milk in a pot, while heating on the stove.
- Add a 0.25 cup of cheese to the milk and soup mixture. Heat until the cheese is melted and the melange is smooth.
- Lube the casserole dish.
- Dump the noodles into the casserole dish.
- Pour cheese, milk, and soup sauce over the noodles.
- Scatter remaining cheese across the top of the casserole.
- Place the casserole dish and contents in the over and cook for 30-45 minutes, until the cheese on top is melted and the edges are starting to brown.
- Remove from over and let stand and cool for a couple of minutes.
- Enjoy.
