Weezie's Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

2 cups milk
1 cup cooked rice (both white and brown work)
1 tablespoon and one large pat butter
0.33 cup sugar
0.25 teaspoon salt
0.33 cup raisins
2 eggs

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Dump sugar, salt, raisins, and eggs into the medium bowl.
  3. Stir together.
  4. Heat milk, butter, and rice in the small pot.
  5. When all the butter has melted, stir the milk/butter/rice mixture into the sugar/salt/raisins/eggs mixture in the medium bowl.
  6. Stir together.
  7. Grease baking dish with a large pat of butter.
  8. Pour milk/butter/rice/sugar/salt/raisins/eggs mixture into the baking dish.
  9. Pour about a half-inch of water in the broiler pan.
  10. Put the broiler pan in the heated oven.
  11. Set the baking dish in the broiler pan.
  12. Bake for 1 hour or until the mixture has set.
  13. Remove from oven and enjoy.
