Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 cup cooked rice (both white and brown work)
1 tablespoon and one large pat butter
0.33 cup sugar
0.25 teaspoon salt
0.33 cup raisins
2 eggs
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Dump sugar, salt, raisins, and eggs into the medium bowl.
- Stir together.
- Heat milk, butter, and rice in the small pot.
- When all the butter has melted, stir the milk/butter/rice mixture into the sugar/salt/raisins/eggs mixture in the medium bowl.
- Stir together.
- Grease baking dish with a large pat of butter.
- Pour milk/butter/rice/sugar/salt/raisins/eggs mixture into the baking dish.
- Pour about a half-inch of water in the broiler pan.
- Put the broiler pan in the heated oven.
- Set the baking dish in the broiler pan.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the mixture has set.
- Remove from oven and enjoy.
